ETFN 3.6

It's been a while since we've released a more significant update to ETFN. We have been slowly releasing this one since the start of March.

We moved and renamed a few things alongside adding and fixing a few of our previous features.

Changes:

  • Progress page: renamed to 'Seasonal'

  • ETFN page: renamed to 'Home'

  • Services page: renamed to 'ETFN'

 Moved:

  • System Notes: Previously, notes could be found across any page in the upper right-hand corner with a red button. They have now been moved to the top of the home page and only show when needed

Minor new features:

  • Cosmetics view now has a Featured image view that will show the image in fullscreen as opposed to opening the API image

  • New "Reload Content" button on the home page to refresh news, notes, updates, and cosmetics

  • New "News Options" at the top of home (only visible when there are no active system note alerts)

  • New Content Loading: This new loading system refreshes content automatically every 10 seconds on the home page.

  • New Trailer view: You might have noticed that when you hopped onto etfn, a seasonal trailer began to play. This only shows once and can be easily dismissed with the ESC key or by clicking the x button in the upper right.

    • Additionally, whenever the main content (the large section at the top of the home page) has a trailer, you can click the "Watch now" button to begin playing a trailer.

      • We are still working on ensuring the trailer view looks good, so it may change frequently throughout the next few months.

  • UPDATES: When ETFN has a new version or a minor bug fix, an Update box or screen will appear

    • UPDATE BOX: Shows in the right-hand bottom of the screen

    • UPDATE SCREEN: When or if theres is any major issue with ETFN, an update screen will show that will completely reload ETFN to the latest version that fixes any major issues

Major new features:

  • The Seasonal page now shows past updates until Chapter 3. We're still working on Chapters 1 and 2. We expect they will be ready next month

  • The Events page is now out and shows some upcoming events

Major bug fixes:

  • The content refresh system on home now works properly

  • Update versions display properly throughout ETFN

  • Reload Content has a new design to work better on devices that don't support full CSS
