Since the announcement of Creative 2.0 (Unreal Editor for Fortnite as UEFN), most players are quite excited. Since that announcement, however, console players have started to worry that although they will get to play the maps made in UEFN, they won't be able to use the editing platform.
Following the recent announcement from @FNCreate on Twitter stating the exact release date of UEFN, there's been a lot of debate on how it will work with the console. I've asked the Epic Games CEO, Tim Sweeney, how it will integrate with all platforms. He stated "Verse scripts are edited using the UEFN editor on PC, and the scripts you make work in Fortnite on all platforms users play on. Later we will bring script editing to Creative Mode on all platforms (plug in a keyboard to type) but that’s not in the first 6 months of release." This confirms that console players will eventually be able to script but will likely never be able to use the main UEFN editor.
